AviShai's Story...

AviShai Dayanim is a composer, orchestrator, producer, and storyteller based in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, M.D. area. He is currently a junior Dual Degree student pursuing both a Bachelor of Music in Music for New Media and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Peabody Institute and the Johns Hopkins University.

From an early age, AviShai has been captivated by the power of music to tell stories and evoke deep emotions. He has composed scores for various forms of media, including short films, theater productions, and video games. His work has earned multiple awards at Film Festivals, most recently, for his work on the film "The Velvet Rose." AviShai’s love for storytelling through music also drives his innovative sound design, where he crafts unique virtual instruments that bring new dimensions to his compositions.

In May 2023, AviShai embarked on an exciting venture into virtual instrument creation, starting with an internship at Impact Soundworks LLC. This experience fueled his creativity and technical expertise, leading to his current role as the Studio Assistant for his major at Peabody, where he blends his dual passions for music and technology. AviShai has had the honor and privilege of working with renowned composers such as Mac Quayle and Michael Levine.
